Millions of Baby Shark bath toys are being recalled after several children were reportedly cut or impaled by them.TheU.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission CPSC is recalling about6.5 million Robo Alive Junior Baby Shark Sing Swim bath toys and 1 million Mini Baby Shark Swimming bath toys becaus vaso stanley e of their hard plastic top fins that may cause injury. The CPSC said Zuru, the company that makes the toys, is aware of at least 12 reports of children falling or sitting on the toys, resulting in impalement injuries, lacerations or puncture wounds.Nine of the reported incidents required medical attention or stitches, the agency said.The full-size Baby Shark toys were sold individually and in packs of three between May 2019 and March 2023 at several retailers, including Walmart, CVS, Dollar General, Target and Amazon. The judge presiding over the trial of four former Minneapolis poli stanley cup usa ce officers involved in the arrest that led to the death of George Floyd dropped a lower-level murder charge against the man who knelt on Floyd s neck, according to the Minneapolis Star Tribune and KMSP-TV in Minneapolis.Hennepin County District Judge Peter Cahill dismissed a third-degree murder charge against Derek Chauvin on Thursday. Chauvin still faces charges of second-degree murder and sec stanley quencher ond-degree manslaughter. The state has five days to appeal the ruling.Cahill also ruled that three other former police officers, J. Alexander Kueng, Thomas Lane and Tou Thao, will remain charged with aiding and abetting murder and manslaughter. Video of the arrest showed Chauvin kneeling on Floyd s death for nearly nine minutes.
